Higher Ground
Is a culinary arts experience especially for underserved high school students in Allapattah.  This unique and empowering program seeks to establish and strengthen multi-faceted relationships among youth, families, schools, and businesses; who are all dedicated to the success of the student.  We strive to foster personal growth and development in young adults as well as to improve their confidence and self-esteem.  Through collaborative partnerships, Higher Ground will not only improve chances for graduation but provide a vocational experience that will launch them into a promising career path.

Classes run twice per week for two hours per session. We also provide a bi-weekly pastry workshop, field trips, and guest speakers.
