Looking for a Miracle

How great it is to experience a miracle but how not so great it is to wait for the miracle!  In the Gospel of Mark chapter 5 you find a ruler of the synagogue coming to Jesus a pleading that Jesus come and lay hands on her daughter for she is dying and needed the touch of God on her life.  Wow!  What a moment when a person comes to realize that no matter how many titles and accolades one has it can not accomplish what only God can.

Jesus agrees and follows the man to his house only to be interrupted by a woman with an issue of blood.  While Jesus is ministering to the woman, Jairus' daughter is dying.  I can relate to that!  Often times in our time of desperation, it seems as if God is taking His sweet time and doesn't even take into consideration that we are desperate!  Atleast it seems like that.  But lately I've discovered that all God is doing is preparing us for our miracle.  Desperate moments demands divine intervention.  Miracles can only be miracles when there is no other hope but a miracle.  Deep!!!!

Then something happened, In verse 35 of Mark's gospel, "35While Jesus was still speaking, some men came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue ruler. "Your daughter is dead," they said. "Why bother the teacher any more?"

The girl is dead, why bother?  Why keep believing for a miracle when all hope is gone.  Ladies and Gentlemen, this is the exact moment to for God to something special!  This is the right time for the divine Intervention.  Season for Miracles.  Look at what the Master told Jairus in verse 36, Ignoring what they said, Jesus told the synagogue ruler, "Don't be afraid; just believe."

You just have to continue to believe!  This is what we are doing at Citichurch!  We are choosing to not be afraid and to just believe!  Join us this weekend for a divine interruption with God.  Services start at 11:00 am.
